You're seriously gonna go back 600 years to claim it was actually rightfully Polish clay? Why stop there. Go back to the tribal days. If you do that you can claim half of Europe is rightfully Polish and any war was just to retake lost territory.
Stop pretending Poland was some noble, peaceful nation that never hurt nobody and only ever got bullied by its neighbors. Europes history is a history of war and conquest. Playing the eternal victim only makes you look like a faggot.
You’re seriously gonna pretend Russia wasn’t a far worse aggressor against Poland than the inverse? How about Germany? Saying Poland was no different is complete bullshit, the scale of difference is massive especially when you look at who actually subjugated who for hundreds of years.
I don't pretend that anyone was worse than the other. I see the reality of life and politics. In the times of the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth the Polish did the "subjugating". Once the Commonwealth became a corrupt shithole incapable of doing anything of note it was gobbled up by Prussia, Austria and Russia. The Polish remained Polish and just became part of different nations.
Before the Russian Empire the Russians were constantly at the mercy of invaders. Before the German Empire most of European powers fought their wars on German lands. During the 30 years war the German population declined by up to 20%.
Life is a struggle. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. That's how it goes. Crying about it and playing the eternal victim is embarrassing.
