Such current year thing to say. If I took over a studio I’d ban race swapping and demand more book accurate adaptations. Seems like a waste of money to hire a showrunner who uses an IP as a platform for the usual current year talking points.

I’m told the book Wicked is pretty good. I’ve read some of the Oz books by Baum
