Again, that's only in the original web novel, not the anime. But what that means is that the only one responsible for this was the original author himself.

Ugh. Again, this series had some great ideas behind it, and I see how and why it kicked off the entire isekai trend--even the infamous truck started here!
But I just can't continue this series. Not knowing this.
So I deliberately spoiled myself how the series ends, so I wouldn't need to see any more of it.
And here I was already put off by the scene in the anime. I can understand not going to his parents' (I think, can't remember, maybe just the mom) funeral, considering he didn't go outside anymore at all, but he could at least have done some kind of mourning, instead of fucking jacking off.
But the sex stuff in that show is hit or miss in general. Some is pretty funny, but some is just fucking cringe.
The anime did shy away from the most important detail.
The original online story told the real reason he was thrown out of the house in his past life:
He was jacking off to bath photos of his own very underage niece.
This was cut from the anime. Once I found that out after watching the first season, I swore never to watch the show again.
What a shame. I loved so many of the ideas the series had...but I will not compromise on this.
If it ever comes out that the author is himself a pedophile, I will NOT be surprised.
