I mean minimum is a strictly controlled border at least with fences, barbed wire and a few guys with guns patrolling it. That's what Trump is calling for at least.

But when they are doing water crossing on boats, yeah drone strike them as you don't KNOW if those boats are smuggling other things like weapons, drugs, paramilitary members etc and the trafficking is just a cover story

I don't even want to entertain such a compromise because it will just devolve into security theatre.

Anything short of actively killing invaders is willfully facilitating the invasion at this point.
