They would insist it’s not the same thing but if you allow this on the taxpayer dime why not plaques with scripture on it

Easy. They hate things that are good, and love things that are nasty, disgusting and repulsive.

It's like asking: why didn't Sodom and Gomorrah have Bible verses, except that comparing the US or Canada to either is an insult to Sodom.
