It's actually not the same thing- "Pride is political", that's the exact quote of countless pride organizers. They have banned politicians and political parties from pride events.
On the other hand, Christianity isn't as explicitly political. You'll never hear the Pope declaring that an entire political party is banned from the Catholic Church. Before the wokeness/baby killing came you could be Christian and be from either party while staying ideologically consistent.
They would insist it’s not the same thing but if you allow this on the taxpayer dime why not plaques with scripture on it
