In a way, but with how the Chinese audience has shown themselves to be they will just buy anything made by their own country or adapts the only 2-3 stories they've ever written.
Since its a game made by them for them, I'm happy for them. But that's not indicative of quality or worth for anyone but them either.
I know nothing about the game itself other than it exists, it being good or bad is irrelevant to the fact that being a AAA Chinese made game using a popular Chinese story means it having millions of concurrent players isn't a comparable metric.
Its about context and relativity to keep things in proportion.
