This random POSTER just CAPITALIZED thoroughly random WORDS.
I know you're just literally copying the youtube video title, but honestly, I can't trust any title that looks like that. It's blatant attention-mongering, which usually implies that the content was/is not worth attention in the first place (which is why it NEEDS to HAVE random CAPITALIZED letters).
"Not judging a book by its cover" is what we tell children so they'll play with the weird kid in class. You're supposed to have realized that saying was bullshit by middle school.
Didn't watch it, the title was stupid and didn't want to give it a click because of it. Have an archive so I won't give it a viewcount?
And yeah I judge books by their cover. "Christmas Recipes". "Woodworking For Dummies". "Space Raptors Butt Invasion". Each of those covers says plenty about their content.
"The aphorism "you can't tell a book by its cover" originated in the times when books were sold in plain cardboard covers, to be bound by each purchaser according to his own taste. In those days, you couldn't tell a book by its cover. But publishing has advanced since then: present-day publishers work hard to make the cover something you can tell a book by." - Paul Graham
There's also at least 1 thinkbeforeyousleep video explaining that you should judge people by how they talk and present themselves. It's all signalling theory. Not the same thing as being superficial, perfectly illustrated by how Patrick Bateman only cares about suit labels for self-justifying social status. Richard Feynman is the perfect example, he had a 'low-class' east-coast accent, but was articulate and substantial. He presented himself with the desired effort to attract the audience he wanted.
Or did the video hit a little close to home?
We don't take too kindly to shotgun gossip techniques around here.
Eh.. judging book by its cover is the most efficient way to figure out if something is gonna be dei. If they have a sheboon front and center... its probably dei.

I bet you judge books by their cover, too.
