One retarded thing I could see them doing is maybe forcing ISPs to redirect any links from twitter to some kind of heavily moderated feed or maybe just the BBC website and they'll use that as direct communication.
They know a growing majority of people don't watch television or are barely tuned in, most use twitter and mobile phones.
They're actually being retarded enough to consider disrupting the few circuses left when there ain't no fucking bread (as heard from a mate your country's food bank use is ridiculously high).
