Not to mention the amount of anime to choose from is going to skyrocket in a few years. There is still a ton of anime that never gets translated because it costs too much vs the demand for niche shows. Being able to farm it out to AI means the turnaround time will plummet and the quantity rises. Granted a lot of them won't be any good, but there will be something out there for anyone. If the shows, even being niche, or enough to get animated in japan, it's likely there's at least some demand in the US. Not enough to warrant full translation using the current model, but with AI it becomes a lot more cheap and doable.
