That's not how quotes work. You can't just take something you heard someone say once and quote it as if the person you've most recently decided you hate just said it.

you put words in his mouth, then argued against those words. he never demonstrated anything about being obsessed with witness in this conversation, so why would you accuse him of doing so?
you need to read what people are actually saying, and argue against them on their merits. you can't just assume things about people.
