He knows him personally? In that case he can't possibly be objective on the topic, and everyone should be calling him out if he plays his typical shtick.
He even has his email and is in contact with Thomas Lockley and basically admitted to acting as his mouth piece ("oh if Thomas emails me more info about such and such topic, i'll share it" he said)

He's been making vids about this since 2 years back (and called it mostly fictional back then). I fully expect someone whose doing a half decent job at research, or journalism and 30 min long history vids about a topic to reach out by email to the author in question. That's normal.
Having contacted someone by email doesn't make you a mouth piece, nor does being willing to present or add the other person's comments. That's standard practise mate.
Ethics in journalism, that was the original point of all this. It sounds to me like he's actually doing it.
E: I do think Metatron is being overly centrist and charitable to the point of naivety in the last 2 mins of this clip, sure. But a lot of your other critiques fall flat.
Right, yes he is being overly centrist and unwilling to cancel. I conceded that.
Your critiques about having known or being in contact and willing to add the other person's comments though. Yes, they fall flat. Because that's standard/good practise.
No, Metatron doesn't know him personally, u/btbw is making a bald-faced lie.
Let me first say that I'm not here as an apologist for Thomas Lockley. Why would I? I don't even know the guy apart from a few emails we've exchanged. So, I will point out the evidence of his thesis and Modus Operandi which I disagree with.

he's basically telling people "noooo don't cancel Thomas Lockley"
I don't see how you think that my critiques fall flat.

Exchanging emails means you know the person. It doesn't necessarily mean you are friends with them but you do know them.
You lied and tried to say that he knew this individual personally, as if they were family friends. You're a liar, you know what you implied.
