So, is it wrong in this situation for me to call this woman a retard? Because even though what happened to her was awful I feel like this is a classic woman moment of having zero knowledge about personal security like every retard that prances from country to country treating the world like a playground.
Here's what I'm doing when looking at any potential trips:
. Always check government advisories for the regions you're visiting they often post reports about crime or potential clusterfucks happening
. google maps, check street view before even considering an area, check the layout and general look of the place before even considering booking, google generally also has decent reviews that aren't botted and people will warn about a place if it has a reputation
. Check youtube for certain areas, another way to check areas without being there, people will even do virtual walks of tourist hotspots in 4k for example so that's a great way to see if there's anything potentially unusual going on
. Clear branding on the hotels and english speaking staff, if it's too good to be true, it probably is, don't cheap out on accommodation because if anything serious happens it will pay dividends to have english speakers who can help you and arrange things
. One extra thing i'm doing is I'm on the look out for aparthotel style places, they provide little kitchenettes often these days which means you can cook whatever meals you want for yourself which potentially saves a crap ton of money and means you can deal with food easily, yes I'm aware airbnb is a thing, but I would much rather deal with hotel chains for the sake of accountability
This is all really basic shit, instead she went through some random travel agent and just decided to go for a 'nice beach'. Fuck, I'm having flash backs to my awful family holidays that I had to go to constantly and they pissed me off so much because of the amount of endless drama I had to deal with. Similarly retarded nonsense where people just clearly weren't planning ahead even remotely.
Dude, it's not just women. While I was in the hospital a few years ago, I overheard my neighbour's visitors' conversation. One guy was bragging up how he got himself a cheap flight to China, and figured he could wander around wherever. Another voice suggested he check out the local laws first. His response? "Why? Everyplace is pretty much the same, right?"
It's the lies that people have been told. They're brainwashed by the nigger worshipers.
Not to mention that they've tricked people into thinking that everyone is going to know English everywhere they go, and it's "racist" to try to learn enough of the local language to read signs and stuff. It's like they want travellers to wind up like that retarded Pole in the Chancouver airport that wasn't bright enough to bring a fucking translation dictionary (and he was a family class immigrant, not a tourist, his mom is to blame, too.)
Hell, you used to be called "Ugly American" if you went around assuming everyplace spoke English (and had McDonald's). That phrase kind of disappeared after the globalists got McDonald's into India and China ...
Though I suppose tech has made that concern obsolete now. Unless the power goes out.
I encountered a few Canadian and American tourists who seemed irritated I didn't speak fluent English to them. This is a semi-rural area.
WTF is up with that.
This never happened with tourists who spoke different languages but tried to communicate in English.
Many tried to communicate in French, which is always appreciated.
The whole world should NOT be made into a bland ''tourist-worshipping'' safe-space. Our nation is for ourselves first ; guests should keep that in mind.
Learning some language of the place you're visiting is not only courtesy, it might save you alot of trouble.
