They certainly will but the thing is they were desperate to keep Biden for a reason which then makes you wonder how bad the other democrats are. I think Biden being the doddering old man is exactly why they kept him around for as long as they did because it would 'look bad' if Trump attacked him which is why he was so measured I think in the debate in comparison to his usual self. If they get anybody under 70 in which they probably will they can no longer play the victim if Trump goes all out on them.
This is what the donors refuse to understand: Joe Biden is more popular than anyone on the ticket. Nobody comes close.
The dem establishment know he won't win, but there's no chance anyone else will.
Robert Barnes is throwing out a wild card of Dwayne Johnson because he could do a better promo than Trump and over-power his machismo, and he's effectively unknown politically so they can ascribe whatever positions they want to him. But, man, that's a fucking hail mary.
Part of me thinks that Clinton might try to run, and separately, I'd like to see RFK try to push his way into the Dem convention.
The Rock is/was speaking at an event held by Patrick Bet-David (no idea if it's happened yet) and he seems like he's cozying up to the Right side of things (yes he's a grifter but still) so I'm not sure if he would do that.
I just worry about the new candidate. Media will fabricate and carry water like never before
