All of them were mega-Hitlers (or the daughter of mega-Hitler) when in office.
Now they're "notable Republicans" that are reminders of a time when the party was more respectable.
The favorability of George Bush among the political Left was not what I saw coming.
Hell, I was 100% on-board the "Bush is a war criminal!" train before Obama was elected.
Then during Obama I was like, "oh, none of them are actually in charge of anything related to foreign policy."
He's not what I thought he was in 2001-2008, but he's still an establishment piece of shit.
You're wrong about foreign policy. They are 100% in control of it. The difference is that the NeoCons focus on hard power, and NeoLibs focus on soft power.
Beyond that, every single strategic objective was exactly the same.
Victoria Nuland says one thing, George Bush says another on the campaign trail.
What Victoria Nuland says ends up happening.
Victoria Nuland says another thing, Barack Obama says another on the campaign trail.
What Victoria Nuland says ends up happening.
Victoria Nuland says a third thing, Donald Trump says another on the campaign trail. 4 years of the most obvious, petty weaponization of the government against the Trump administration ensues. Victoria Nuland's plan ends up mostly happening anyway.
I do not believe that the president has much control over it at all.
