Leftists are trying to subvert the movement by claiming that Japanese people don't care at all and that only white weeb incels care about it. The recent petition for example where they highlighted that the "top supporters" are white men, or the twitter guy that pretended to be a Japanese man but is apparently white. We live in an anti-white society where basically any white male opinion that doesn't support the leftist agenda is instantly discarded and deserving of mockery, and anybody that isn't white that doesn't support the leftist agenda is hidden, ignored, or called race traitors. Despite the globohomo world order, what Japanese people like or don't like is very elusive to the rest of the world, and that is very much to the benefit of the globohomo leftists, who can basically isolate the opinions of the Japanese and pretend that the Japanese who manage to have their anti-leftist opinions seen by the rest of the world are merely white men in disguise
