Searching online there were about 360 African people between 1500 and 1640 in England and Scotland, this including north and west africans so how many black women could there have been in the second half of the 17 century.
What a manipulative article. They took 145 dead bodies - out of them we don't even know how many total blacks were in there it can be anything between 14 and 22 non-white, that included north and west africans and even greeks.
What I don't get about this line of reasoning is, even if they prove these ancient Britons had dark skin, what the fuck does that have to do with modern Africans?
Like, they would have migrated out of Africa generations ago and would be a completely different linage.
I don't think they would care, as long they are not white they get to claim that European accomplishments are theirs, somehow. You see them mixing northern-Africans with sub-Saharan Africans all the time despite not having anything in common.
