One of Jordan Petersons frequent talking points is how "Israel" means something like "one who wrestles with god". I haven't heard him talk about Jacob, who in the bible was renamed to Israel after fighting an angel. Jacob, "Ya'aqov", means "someone who seizes, circumvents, or usurps".
