They put a wire up around all of manhattan to trick god into thinking it's all one building so they can go outside on the sabbath. There's a whole industry of automatic light switches and ovens and microwaves and shit to rules-lawyer their way around their own god's rules.

The arrogance it takes to think you can outwit God because you followed the letter of the law rather than the spirit always gets me.
