This was coming, I think anybody who knew anything about the UK knew what the normies would do but I admit I am surprised at just how retarded the normies are in this country. Instead of giving any kind of support for reform which I would understand if people who hated the uniparty wanted to do even though I'm extremely sceptical of Farage due to his past antics in politics they looked at the Lib Dems and went "Yes, we're going to vote for those guys" or they simply flipped their votes to Labour if at all.
I am so fucking pissed off at this country but seeing it actually unfurl in real time with zero resistance to the WEF while even the French, the French of all people are being more based than us pissed me off more than I expected. That isn't the scariest shit though about this new government, the conservatives were fucking awful but Labour are going to go all in with speech laws among other things.
The parents are going to be targeted heavily in schools over misgendering but also we're going to see tech companies become regulated to the extreme in terms of their speech. Things like mandatory pronouns and the like could be a very real possibility. If you see a games studio that's based in the UK for example, don't trust them if they stay here willingly they're inevitably going to cuck themselves hard for the sake of staying on the good side of regulators.
The Lotus Eaters were making the point on their livestream very correctly that there were politicians whining about how Ofcom needed to regulate podcasters and how they should fall under Ofcom rules. So even the Lotus Eaters now are considering, okay, how do we get around jurisdictions.
I do not fucking blame Rumble either for not setting foot inside this country because of how much the UK government might fuck with them. I know I've bitched about this a lot lately, but it's finally happening now, guess I better start up that Spanish learning seriously.
I think the biggest takeaway from the UK is we underestimated the amount of ingrained thought within the UK population that its ONLY an either or vote between two parties...than a parliamentary system.
Reform at least getting Farage and a few members in to parliament at least gets their voices heard more and makes it harder to mess with them since they can use the commons as their soap box. I looked at the results and interesting how the SNP got decimated while Sinn Fienn is now the largest NI Westminster party so that's going to be interesting.
All together, this is probably the third worst result that could have happened, Reform at least have their foot in the door and SNP suffered a lot which could be foretelling for the Scottish elections. The biggest turning point now will be France and the US as if Macron goes and Trump wins in the US, it'll reduce the allies that the more commie Labour can rely on to prop them up.
As for Internet and silencing podcasts, Elon Musk has MORE power than the UK government, if Twitter was to pull out of the UK, they'd probably suffer a recession. The UK economy is too weak to risk bullying ANY legal revenue streams in especially since now Farage is in Westminster like a grim reaper for these idiots.
And an actual America First government in the US could deliver the knockout punch to globalist regulators by banning US companies from complying with foreign regulations that limit free speech. Take it out of Elon's hands. He shouldn't be allowed to shadowban a user at the request of the German Stasi, Brazilian supreme court, or the Australian puppet government.
I'm rooting for you guys in the US seriously, depending on what happens America could be an option but from the business perspective I need to know what's going to happen regulatory wise and things like that. If the American right gets most of the things they wanted and border control is strengthened big time with Trump in power and he spergs out at the DOJ and FBI that would be an excellent thing for your country.
I'll keep my options open though and I'm looking at everywhere at the moment just to be pragmatic as possible. Just take it from a British guy, don't underestimate the normies, it's not all voter fraud, the self-hatred and white guilt in the west is real.
When has a loss of profit and tax revenue ever stopped them? They've already run this country into the ground to the point it's dilapidated and it's only supermarkets and large chain stores that exist on the high street now, that's not an exaggeration. They're going to happily run the tech sector into the ground if it means total hegemony over the internet in this country and make sure to censor all forms of alternative thought on there and quash any last resistance.
Commies do love their famines....
We'll have to wait and see as Labour could end up with their own mismanagement devaluing the currency making them reliant on outsiders.
Two options now as I see it and this is the most realistic scenarios that I've wargamed:
. Full on commie regime with Labour acting on a public mandate and they run the country into the ground and bankrupt councils
. Full on corruption where Labour embezzle tax money to the extreme to line their own pockets to the point it even alarms the normies and they can't even pay government employees anymore then they take the money and run - I actually think this is a potential likely scenario because I know the types of people are in these parties, it's all migrant gibs and corrupt as fuck wokeists that make AOC look intelligent
I don't think they have the competency to implement a commie regime but they'll certainly fucking try it initially.
I think second is more likely than first.
For a commie regime you NEED the authority from force to enact it because there WILL be dissenters and it only takes a small, dedicated organised group to topple a government.
Looking at the current state of your police and the fact your country would only last 2 weeks against an 'tier 2 military', you don't have the force to do it and with recruitment WAY down on military, you'll never have that for the next 5 years, it's ironic that conservative mismanagement made a commie regime impossible.
Unlikely. There'll just be a UK version of Twitter.
If anything, there would be celebration of Twitter exiting the UK. Worse still, they'd prefer to have an internal network which can be crafted and regulated by Government "for your own safety" and "for the safety of the children". It just isn't practical at the moment without destroying your economy or facing a massive backlash - that takes time unlike in regimes like North Korea, Cuba or Iran. But I suspect a national Intranet outside of Government and business is coming and will happen eventually.
The only reason I doubt it'll END up that way than them attempt it is talking with my British friends there's a pattern that they tell me keeps occurring:
ALL government projects for the past decade have failed, been delayed to obscurity, ran over budget and been so woefully inept that they fall apart immediately.
I don't doubt they'll at least try but it'd be MORE buggy than a Bethesda product that they'd get hacked in seconds of launch, no one would use it and more people would use VPNs to get back to Twitter, even government employees.
They only changed the colour of the car, not the defunct civil service engine underneath..
