I've mentioned it before in comments a few times, but my entire interest in the show as a whole started and ended with the fact that Mori Calliope sings the ending theme (and it's good as hell), but I didn't really have much interested in the actual setting of the show mainly because I checked out of American hero stuff with Endgame, but if any of y'all have seen what's available right now, what's your opinion on it?
Edit: posting the actual animation with the opening and ending themes for the sake of posterity:

Cyberpunk 2077 was mostly non-woke with just a couple of stinky moments (like intentionally uglified women characters, super-hackers from the country with the lowest IQ score, that awful tracer quest and inability to say what a sleazy slut that brainmolten whore was).
Now, whereas Phantom Liberty went full woke, Edgerunners was non-woke and pretty cool. Maybe not too deep but, honestly, cyberpunk is a dumb feels genre, the whole "philosophical" allure of that is chunibyo cringe anyways.
Come to think of it that's probably the most woke and unbelievable thing ever in 2077. The original Voodoo Boys in the tabletop RPG (despite being written by Mike Pondsmith) weren't actually Haitian they were just White geeks who liked the name. I don't know who exactly was behind the change, but it's a perfect example of wokification.
You forgot removing Male/Female and replacing it with Type 1/Type 2. Adding in tranny options to appease the loud trannies who complained about a lack of tranny options and feeding into the alphabet nonsense.
But these days, most people really don't seem to mind woke games, and as I mentioned some years ago, the barometer for what people will consider woke will keep getting pushed further and further Left because the Overton Window keeps getting dragged further and further left.
