Why would Christ's grave be there, if he ascended bodily to Heaven?

Also, India claims to be home of Jesus the Man's grave, which makes more sense if he and all his cronies and family were exiled from Judea/Palestine. India was just beyond Rome's reach and influence.

Would have had to cross through the entire Parthian Empire to get to India, that's not a short distance. Why wouldn't anyone fleeing East from the Romans just stop in Parthia, like the pharasees did after the failed great revolt?

I'm gonna be honest man, I'm an anti-theist, I have no idea what the excuse is, and I don't think it maters whether he's in there or not. I'd bet we have no idea where jesus' body actually is, and we'll probably never find it.
