Okay, let's disassemble "the audience is wrong" argument.
"[Product] failed because the audience is bigots!"
Well ... no. You rode on the success of an established and beloved franchise and reworked it to serve your ideology rather than [product]'s legacy. If you did not want the attention of [product]'s audience, you could have made something new and original yourself.
They're not bigots, they're rightly upset that they're being conned.
Even if the audience were bigots, Disney's actions make no sense. If I had spent $4.05B on an IP and then realized that I couldn't work with the fans, I would try to resell it to someone else to get some of my money back.
What I would not do, under any circumstance, is blow $100m-$200m a pop on productions I knew that audience would hate.
Literally "It's not about the money. It's about sending a message."
They are not capitalists. They're marxist propagandists.
Yep and because so much funding comes from the sdg/wef by way of government extortion, the producers of such tripe are removed from the usual worries of having to make a product consumers enjoy or go bankrupt.
Not only are they serving garbage, they have us paying top dollar for it, while being chastised for not enjoying it.
