Vimm's Lair has been asked to remove many games from The Vault on behalf of Nintendo, Sega, Lego, and the ESA. While most of these games (and the hardware to play them) haven't been sold in decades, ultimately it's their prerogative so these games are now gone for good.
Edit: For those looking for some of the roms that are no longer available on Vimm's Lair, you should still be able to find them here. At the top, the section "Retro" has everything from the Nintendo 64 and older. Gamecube and Playstation can be found in "Misc".
Surprised they've decided to stick thier dick into this hornet's nest, though they're probably relying on no one having the resources to call them out on thier bullshit.
Ah, well. Just makes sourcing old roms a tiny bit harder, but not impossible.

Yet again it seems pirating Nintendo games continues to be a moral duty
Considering how piss easy it is compared to literally any other system/company, it almost feels like they want you to do it.
Like, the WiiU and 3DS emulator is more simple and functional than my PS1 one most days and that's a two decade difference in technology.
