On FB I get bombarded with Afrocentric stuff that I keep blocking but still get more. I got fed up and just started going after ppl in comments. Same thing happens during pride month. You block one lgbt group and 10 more come at you
I highly recommend simply logging off and refusing to use such a site and I do it myself. There are only very specific niche parts of the internet that I'll hang out in these days, everything they do is designed to provoke a reaction out of somebody. I've been warning about this constantly but they're going to be kicking this annoying behaviour into overdrive and I bet that the people you're trying to respond to are NPCs to begin with. They're not there to have a conversation and they aren't real human beings. I refuse to use twitter and facebook even though it would technically benefit me if I got traction, I just care about my own mental health more.
I second this. I un-installed it on a pay as you go phone back in 2017 to make room for an update, thought to myself '...but what if I leave it off my phone...' and haven't looked back. My life has been cleansed.

Yea, I have a massive extended family so FB is a great way to keep up with everyone but I really should get off of it

I gave up on FB like 5 years ago and do not regret it one bit.
