Is anything in the comics industry actually marketed towards kids at this point? Kids don't read comics, they read manga.
I'm convinced that their unapologetic embrace of normal healthy gender roles is at least part of their appeal and why they're absolutely crushing all of western media without even trying.
Not so much the comics themselves but the character. Batman is still a staple of kids' toy sections and costumes.
