I've played the game for free thanks to a friend. I had to drop it because:

I don't like turn-based combat games and having to manage a full team.
The story didn't click with me so it didn't caught me.
I got tired of hearing the narrator. STOP TALKING.
I was terrible and could not get past many battles so I got stuck.
The FUCKING WHITE HAIR DUDE ROGUE McGEE, I felt so disgusted when I first met him that I never allowed him to get even close to my team.

The worst part is that I didn't even get to see any of the horny that was promoted so much.

Your third point is funny to me because there were many times I completely forgot there was a narrator at all

Iirc someone made a male voice mod for the narrator. Dunno if it's up do date but it honestly gives the game a much better vibe.
