she seems to have chosen to get involved with shitty conservative guys.

Well and she also claims that trad life attracts shitty guys. Thus besmirching for no reason guys who want a trad life.

Honestly, she made a mistake that is so common that I think most married people have done it. She went from thinking "my husband is a piece of shit" to "trad men are pieces of shit."
