Asmon gold is a great barometer for how weak their principles and actual use is. Because, just like most of those normies, he will flipflop the next morning on anything he says or does if one of his friends tells him otherwise or his chat upsets him so he has to be full contrarian against them.
Literally at the same time as he was "discovering" the SBI shit, he was also defending Hasan the turkroach and laughing at people who said they didn't make what he considered a normal wage (1000$ a day is what he thinks lower end jobs make).
1000 a day is about 250k a year. That is nowhere near an average salary.
Well according to Asmongold it is, as stated by him emphatically during his "streaming is harder than most jobs because you get burnt out socializing" rant.
"Being a mom is the hardest job in the world. Imagine having to bend over inserting a dvd into a dvd player to entertain your child while the washing machine and the dishwasher do all the work for you. So much harder than those coal miners getting black lung" - Bill Burr when he was good
I know practically nothing about him, but he's the one who chose that job. Being a streamer is to be an entertainer. To be a dancing monkey for the camera. And from what I know, he's more renowned for playing videogames than for poignant social commentary, so he doesn't even really need to do research or write scripts before he turns on the camera. He can just play videogames and talk about what's happening on screen, or about the gameplay.
His job is far easier than most, even if I personally am probably not suited for it.
Since a lot of my friends are/were WoW players I am forced to pick up information about him through them (as well as his big moments through bird forums).
The point, as I understand it, is that because you need to be in "streamer mode" the entire time, you get burnt out about having a personality and energy and all that goes into that acting gig. And after you turn off the camera, you don't have the energy level to go out and be an extrovert and socialize because you do that for work.
Which, is a valid point if made correctly. But Hasan, and then the Chipmunk, came across more like ultra rich losers who think their job is harder than a cashier (who has the same problem) because...it just is okay?! Normal people only making like 1000$ a day just don't understand how hard it is after works over when you have no energy! Which turns the valid point into rich people whining.
Literally 10x my salary.
Amazing how out of touch some people are.
