The topic of Jews has always been on the fringes of the internet (this board among them), and dismissed wholesale by just about anyone outside of said circles. That is how things worked for the longest time, basically since the birth of the internet as a whole. That changed, very noticeably, very abruptly, and very obviously, after Israel's counter-invasion of Palestine in the aftermath of the October 7th, 2023 attacks by Hamas.
Since then, something has shifted in the wider internet (and maybe wider society, but that could just be wishful thinking), and I can't place my finger on how or why this has happened. Has it been building up over time? Did it blow up all at once? What other factors are involved? I don't know.
Here are a couple recent examples to see what I mean;
-
Mark Dice, say what you want about him, is someone I've kept an eye off and on for many years. I would usually place him closer to milquetoast than not (not as bad as, say, Tim Pool the Dim Fool, but just enough to want to keep his channel). However, he went full blown Noticing(TM) in his most recent video, to my complete surprise. He even admits at the end of the video that he thinks he's "flying too close to the sun" (because YouTube), so it's safe to say that he knows.

Info Wars (and by extension, Alex Jones) has always been willing to broach into many a subject, but has always been rather mum on this particular topic, minus low hanging fruit such as the USS Liberty (the possible reasons why are for another discussion). That is, until a few days ago, when a video + article was put out on Zionism, a pro-Jewish ideology. For all I know, its contents could be total BS, but the fact they address it at all is to be noted.
Of course, we are now seeing the US Government revealing their true loyalties once and for all (i.e. not to the American people, but to the nation state of Israel) in response to these shifts in discussion surrounding <pulls out a gallon of Minute Maid> the juice, and it is currently attempting to make "antisemitism" a federal crime based on an extremely broad definition, that can best be summarized as "rules, ethics, and accountability are for goyim".
Let me know your thoughts.
Easy: it’s because the narrative shifted in a way that can’t even be ignored by the usual cognitive dissonance. We’ve all had it drilled into our heads that Jews were the ultimate victims because of the Holocaust and so could do no wrong. Liberals have been very conditioned over the years (by SOMEONE) to always support the oppressed (blacks, gays, women, trans, “refugees.”) Then the October 7th thing happened and Israel responded in kind instead of, say, turning the other cheek(heh). This short circuited the liberal mindset, as the oppressed became the oppressors, and so they were forced to side with those poor, downtrodden Palestinians who only want to genocide the Jews. “Noticing” is a result of the conflict that arises from an inability to determine the most underest of underdogs when neither should be supported as a victim.
You can only play the victim for so long, this is why, in my opinion, magical Soros money is behind the “Palestinian protests”. It’s an extremely low risk way to push the narrative of “we’re still victims!”. The immediate AIPAC political response pushes that rationale as well, funny how we can’t get the gop to lift a finger for their voter base, but a batch of “antisemitic” protests on a conflict and we get Jewish American Heritage month in Texas the next day.
Yup. The protests distract from what's actually going on and reframe (in America) the Israel/Palestine situation into one where you have the typical Right / Left tribalisms at play.
It is not at all surprising that Soros is funding the protests or that (reportedly) Israeli intelligence is at work organizing as well.
I'm having a hard time following this because I've always seen the left as being pro Palestinian.
In my city in 2021 the cops shut down major streets for an unpermitted "protest" downtown, saw it happen with my own eyes, by leftist Palestinian supporters. I know they were lefty because some of them were wearing BLM shirts, but the slogans "Occupation is a crime" etc. were being shouted into a bullhorn.
What am I missing here?
Any decent person is against kids being blown into piles of steaming meat, which is exactly what is getting shown in media as a result of the latest campaign by the Israeli military
But that's been happening since October. So why did the protests wait more than 6 months to occur? We can basically tell that this isn't an organic, spontaneous thing, so what's the agenda here?
If you follow any normie-tier political news, it's clearly to provide a new Current Thing. Now the most important news of the day, worth 20-30 stories a day, is crap like, "INNOCENT JEWISH GIRL gets pushed by PRO-RAPE PALESTINIAN PROTESTORS." Meanwhile, US congress is working hard to neuter TikTok, X, and other tech platforms, while criminalizing speech that criticizes Israel.
