I'm fully aware they have an ocean of info, but it takes the right personality to seek it out. If you're an introvert and the internet is co-parenting you, then yeah definitely. If not, then you'll be far more current on school gossip or hip hop than politics.
I’m not saying all are aware, just that more today are than any of use were at that age because the information is far more accessible and there’s a far greater effort to counter the lunacy.
Can't really disagree that more are aware than the almost nonexistent "aware" cohort of millennials at that age. Right wing millennials were pro-Iraq.
As millennials our influence and available information was still largely dictated by legacy media. The separation for millennials was the Obama era and the realization legacy media was a fraud. Gen Zs oldest were teens during gamergate and the ensuing insanity of programs like title IX kangaroo courts were thrust in their face when they were told to be looking at colleges.
