It's so much quieter without them here, lol. Though unlike, say, Drjester, you could at least sometimes have a constructive discussion with those two.
At least Imp, anyway. Sometimes, on some topics that didn't relate directly to women, and that he couldn't bizarrely turn into "muh matriarchy".
Not gonna say "I miss them", but it's certainly changed the "vibe" here, a bit,
I also somewhat "miss" Dom's comments and discussion contributions, lol. He sometimes had fairly valid points.
Not sure how, but this place somehow became relatively much more sane than Stupidpol or similar, even on most "contentious" issues. Which i did not expect. Though I guess it is no surprise that even relatively "based" subreddits have gone off the deep end by now...
Though the craziness of some of our resident turboposters is/was what made this place entertaining, tbh, lol. At least for me. Mostly.
They weren't crazy but I noticed GeneralBoobs and Dekacin(or whatever) are also gone these days.
Pretty sure dekachin was trying to be a controversy grifter on Twitter. I haven't checked his account in months, but for awhile there that's all he was posting on.
GeneralBoobs rage quit after one too many users here complained about his confusing post titles.
I would rather block a user for that than see them go. I guess I will try and refrain from bitching about titles to weird-title people. For some reason those people tend to have problems with forums, they are either genuinely off-kilter or they are constantly being berated for attention-seeking or they get outright singled out and banned by mods.
Currently my entire block list is just alts from one single conpro user named pkvi who refuses to use titles in the title field, preferring to use the title field as text post space. It annoys the fuck out of me. He keeps getting banned and has to make new alts over and over and I have no clue why. His posts were always topical, just annoyingly formatted with personal syntax. But that's just the kind of thing that happens to that kind of person. There is something about unwillingness to create a proper title that connects to a person's other traits, ultimately correlating with them feeling and/or literally being rejected or singled out. Attention-seeking is a double edged sword, and if it's not percieved by them as being purposefully attention-seeking, the unwanted aspects of that attention must be very frustrating.
