It's so much quieter without them here, lol. Though unlike, say, Drjester, you could at least sometimes have a constructive discussion with those two.
At least Imp, anyway. Sometimes, on some topics that didn't relate directly to women, and that he couldn't bizarrely turn into "muh matriarchy".
Not gonna say "I miss them", but it's certainly changed the "vibe" here, a bit,
I also somewhat "miss" Dom's comments and discussion contributions, lol. He sometimes had fairly valid points.
Not sure how, but this place somehow became relatively much more sane than Stupidpol or similar, even on most "contentious" issues. Which i did not expect. Though I guess it is no surprise that even relatively "based" subreddits have gone off the deep end by now...
Though the craziness of some of our resident turboposters is/was what made this place entertaining, tbh, lol. At least for me. Mostly.
I've noticed more rule creep and a desire to ban the more egregious individuals to clean up the website. On another community they've just clarified their rules on no derogation of individuals based on inalienable characteristics or ideas (ideology).
I'm guessing that as a website needs to attract income, it needs to become more milquetoast and inoffensive to appease those paying for it (the advertisers in this case).
This translates to: "No discussing the source of any given problem".
You must be fucking joking. What community?
As long as they enforce it equally I'm less bothered by that, hopefully the admins don't behave like retards as the Ruqqus people did. For those who don't know it was another reddit clone and they admitted that they were doing a cleansing of 'undesirables' like MTGOW and Incels in order to make it more friendly for advertisers and they were pretty shameless about attacking people who disagreed with them.
It was kind of heartwarming in a way though because even people who did not like these groups called the admin on their shit. It turns out they completely underestimated how much demand there was for a reliable non-shitty reddit alternative and they were planning on turning the place into some incredibly lame support forum for an equally lame product they were trying to shill for. The main problem I feel is not necessarily these groups at all but NPC posters in general and we know they exist and they're solely out to post off topic crap on various communities and spam their agenda while trying to silence people who tell them to fuck off or call them on it.
Since this isn't really a reflection of ideology, see my bitching about tradcucks who I think have largely become so unpopular now they've slinked off. Regarding how much quieter it is it's fascinating how once you either ban/block one or two individuals all of a sudden you get relevant posts on your feeds and you realise they've been spamming up a thread the entire time trying to start shit with people.
