Plastic surgery should be left to what it was intended for, giving those who have horrific scars due an accident, war or medical issue the chance to look like they once did.
Giving any ability to change yourself physically without effort seems like a recipe for disaster with the human race..
I think T should be far more readily available, because all the flouride, soy, and xenoeostrogens are destroying it (so is fat and society) to levels far below what is standard or even ideal.
And the plastic surgery on people who would ruin themselves anyway in some way allows for far more practise and training helping the cohort who legitimately need it to return to normal after say, breast cancer.
On your second point, I really don’t think most of the surgeons doing this sort of butchery are the same ones doing regular reconstructive surgery, as in your example…
They’re different specializations…
Is there some crossover (in terms of breast reconstruction and implants)..? Sure. But it’s very rarely the same surgeons, or indeed the same practice…
You go to a cosmetic surgeon because you want to change how you look.
You go to a specialist plastic/reconstructive surgeon to fix something after a medical problem.
Hell, even I have been to a plastic surgeon, after having a potential skin cancer removed.
Also veneers. Veneers (as this woman has, now) are awful, and unless you really need them (like, because you have an actual medical problem/developmental defect), they almost always look worse.
Erin Moriarty, Natalie Alyn Lynd, even bloody Richard Hammond…
That is another trend that just needs to die.
Notice how Lucie can’t even smile properly anymore?
Yeah, that. Combined with the thousand cock stare, of course…
I fucking hate 'modern beauty standards'

I'm more conflicted

I don’t view them as being the same.
I hate modern everything.
