The really sad part about Ukraine in general is...a bunch of people are still dying over there, but it's much less Current Thing than it was, so the hardcore Slava Ukrainists don't even give much of a shit anymore, because they were actually just Current Thingists. I'd actually respect them more if they were still shilling Ukraine hard. I remember that struck me during one of the big offenses, when it seemed like a ton of people were dying. I was just like...at this point, I care more just on general anti-war grounds, than the staunchest Ukraine supporter. Bruh...your side is out there fighting and dying, and you don't give a shit. It was pretty depressing to realize that those fucking normies were even more useless than I had assumed. And that's a low bar.
I'm not either side, and I'm mostly just anti-senseless-death, but I think Ukraine is a corrupt shithole, and Russia has its problems but I can see where they're coming from. That might be the funniest and saddest part...I still don't think Russia even wanted all of Ukraine anyway. I think they might very well have been satisfied with Donetsk and Luhansk...those ethnically Russian zones that Ukraine had already been bombing the shit out of for a decade, and that seemingly wanted to join Russia. They already took Crimea and Sevastopol. They don't need Ukraine. Perhaps I'm wrong, perhaps they would have kept going. There are tons of resources to take there. Either way, you're right, it's not our conflict to begin with.

I think it got the Skyrim rub with basic fans knowing Fallout is a thing and thirsting for more since that last game sucked.
