For those who don't yet understand Japanese, what are the apes(?) saying?
I was curious about a possible meaning myself and did not feel like waiting, so I took a crack at it.
ホ - katakana for syllable ho
ウ - katakana for syllable u
Since katakana can be used for onomatopoeia, it might just be an ape sounding noise? Certainly fits the context.
