The Iranians are itching for any pretext at all to end Iran as a potential nuclear threat; Up to and including nuking the hardened facilities in which uranium is enriched.

I fear that this would only encourage them to actually go full steam ahead trying to get a nuke. Right now, they're in the sweet spot of "they can develop one if they want to, but won't because that would actually lead to backlash" (at least, in my judgment).
