Why on Earth would you name your smart car "Waymo," the hell? It sounds like some cheap Chinese crap you'd never trust your life to. How does one of the biggest companies come up with that as the name?

Chinese crap would be Weimo, Waymo is American crap.

I think they went to Eric Schmidt with the idea and he said "great idea, what do you need to build it, like $10 billion?"
