You can like or hate Chauvin or what he did, his imprisonment is obviously political, the scales are and were weighed heavily against him, and he never stood a chance.
And the people (us all included) stand by and let it happen. They'll let the worst criminals out, while they lock up political prisoners and let them be abused terribly. It's not sustainable.
