Warner Bros. expanding anime production to more than 10 series per year
Warner Bros. is looking to expand their anime production in a big way – with the media giant aggressively wanting to release double digits each year. The Asia-Pacific branch of Warner Bros.
You know something? I don't think they will, there will definitely be a few corrupt twats but the Japanese have been resisting the woke shit with some success. Sure, there will be a few corrupt arseholes bending over but then they were always corrupt.
I think as well there are a lot of sane businessmen over there who will be crunching the numbers and will have noted that objectively any woke release has been a catastrophic failure while anime is a massive growth industry right now.
What financial sense would it make for them to give up all that money? They're not fucking useless like western game devs so they can stand on their own they would pretty much have to be threatened and blackmailed into it for them to bend the knee at this point though I could certainly see that happening and then we have a GamerGate 3.0 not just for Japanese anime but games studios generally.
These western investors at big corporations will try anything to topple the Japanese anime industry because it is eating western entertainment right now for lunch not knowing why anime is successful in the first place. All they will try to do is infiltrate and feign interests in anime and slowly try to corrupt it.
I may be blackpilled or something but I always expect the worst out of these corporate investors and producers. Rather than honourably admitting defeat and letting western entertainment run its course, they would rather take down their competitor as they are getting destroyed. Just look at game industry in general. Instead being happy successful Japanese games are being made still now, these western game devs are insanely salty at Elden Ring and Palworld success.
