Another interesting thought that popped into my head a while back; could you go after the RNC and DNC for campaign finance violations? Why is there some cutout for political parties? Why can they give so much money in general, while deciding who can and can't run?
There were never supposed to be parties, and yet they hold an absurd amount of power proportional to us. They're too entrenched now, but it's still a fun thought to imagine them broken up on the legal front. Shut it all down, open up the system.

They can't be gone after, because they technically don't actually keep anyone from running legally, they just pick which candidate they endorse.
