Steroids. I won't go out into the main night life strips in any Australian city any more because there is too many retarded bodybuilder types on steroids looking for fights. And it's always the worst sub types - middle easterns and southern europeans - because they have such fragile egos and know that they are shit people. But they betray their self belief with the targets they choose - no one that's bigger than them or looks like he can handle himself - they go for the weakest just like school bullies. Of course there is worse - the steroid cocaine combo.

I don't watch often these days, and only see clips on YouTube, but AJ Styles looks huge and he's been doing DDP Yoga. Ospreay (who has come a long ways since running the British indie circuits) is also quite huge these days. It baffles me to some extent...
The people complaining about big men are quite hypocritical, because one of the most iconic big men (Ultimate Warrior) has received nothing but hate from most people despite being the epitome of the roided out big-man era and exactly what some of the muscle-fetish fans claim they want(ed).
In fact, throughout most eras, the big men were never really that great in the ring with the exception of a rare few. All the actual talented wrestlers were small or mid-size, from the Von Erichs and Terry Funk, to Tommy Billington,Verne Gagne and Roddy Piper, to Bret Hart, Harley Race, and Mike Rotunda, none of the really talented fellows were roided out monsters.
Yeah, I’m surprised to hear this too. Back in the old days when I was more plugged in, the smarts generally hated big dudes because they were mostly shitty workers, often without much charisma either, but they got rammed down our throats because Vince McMahon thought they looked nice in a pair of trunks.
Are there really people lamenting the lack of roided out monsters these days? Are they smarts? Or marks / little jimmies? (Do marks even exist anymore?)
Mostly fanatics about the podcast of that piece of shit Jim Cornette, who thinks wrestling should never have evolved past about 1990. They go on and on about how "no one looks believable anymore" and that today's wrestlers "look like they'd sell for a light gust of wind."
One of the greatest managers in the history of the business, yes, but there's a reason it's called the Cult of Cornette.
That and he might also be an actual cuckold--there are rumors, however unproven, that he loves to record video of wrestlers having sex with his (Cornette's) wife. Anthony Carelli (Santino Marella) is even on video telling Cornette to his face that "I know what you did," and it doesn't sound like it was in character.
Huh, I’m kind of surprised. I figured Cornette’s disciples would be turbo-smarts who favored workrate over everything else, but I guess I’m misreading that.
Cornette is so freaking strange. I do find him entertaining when he goes on his rants, and sometimes he has some decent points, but his mindless worship of old-school “Lou Thesz in black trunks” type bullshit is fucking weird, and his propensity to say things like “anything that comes out of a box is instantly over” suggests he’s pretty badly out of touch.
I also knew that he and santino had heat with each other, but I didn’t know santino called him out for being a cuck. That’s pretty amazing. I feel like a bitch for saying it, but nothing is better than backstage drama in wrestling.
