Supposedly the Dead By Daylight devs are very lefty/woke and truly did not realize what a shitstorm would be caused by casting a trans VA to be an "unknown"/not gendered monster.
The "offensive" skin is not the default; and even the trans VA that complained has walked back their complaints. Trannies never walk back their crusades usually so this is hilarious. Either payment was about to be taken back from the trans VA or they were threatened with lawsuits or being blacklisted. Very surprising if it's true that the company behind Dead By Daylight really didn't know how this would come across, lol.
Lastly there's the classic joke of "Ahhh I'm trans and this hideous monster is OBVIOUSLY meant to mock me!!!!"
".... Huh, why would you think that?"
(In fairness it looks quite a bit like many MtF trannies)

That's because most know (or come to know) that on some level they are indeed mutilated and there's no going back, so they lash out at what they are projecting to be a personal attack.
Exactly. They're so close to figuring it out but can't quite get there.
"I see a hideous monster and am immediately reminded of myself... Am I doing something wrong? NO! It is society who is at fault!"
Some times I do feel bad for them. Often they are lonely, or addicted to porn, or were molested as kids; and get roped into some groomer discord group. As they hit their 30s/40s and mature enough; they realize that they were fooled and have ruined a (previously) functioning body beyond repair.
(Of course on the other hand they often continue to groom other younger lonely kids; and agitate for tranny story hour and other garbage; so it's hard to stay sympathetic.)
Feel sorry for those you know personally and can actually get the story of. Anonymous people on the internet are not your problem, but those around you that can help others even if it's too late for them is worth it, if they truly can be shown that what they did was a mistake and no one else should be tricked like they were.

That's the funny part. From the perspective of the woke, they did they right thing, right up until someone with the correct victim status said they did the wrong thing. The way they look at it, they have a character that is genderless and can switch between approximating male and female forms. This character therefore needs to have a male and a female voice, so you can either go through the difficulty and cost of hiring a male actor and female actress that sound similar, or you can do what they did—hire a trans actor who can do both voices. In theory, this should be brilliant. The actor they hired is Zoey Alexandria, who LARPs as a woman and even runs a service training men on sounding feminine. If you work from the woke frame, where Zoey Alexandria is expected to be a normal, professional person who is just like anyone else, but had the misfortune of being "born in the wrong body," it's a genius move. You get to be "inclusive" and "open-minded" and "diverse" by hiring a tranny, and you also get someone who is extremely experienced at exactly what you want, which is producing a masculine and a feminine version of the same voice. You have no way to see what is about to happen coming.
If you aren't woke and you operate from the correct frame of "trannies are mentally unstable narcissists who can and will take almost anything as a personal attack," the outcome is extremely obvious. But because the DbD devs are woke, they can never realize that danger.

Yeah, I saw *his latest posts were something like "hey I had so much fun playing the unknown today, add me" which is an amazing turn from "I demand reparations [??] for playing a character that puts me in danger because people might recognize me [????]"
My guess is the same as yours, some form of saber rattling from Dead by Daylight. But how? Trannies usually take any threats and blast them all over the internet as part of their martyr complex, regardless of how credible they are.

Misery loves company.

Her?
Oops
Thus we know it wasn't a stick, which means it was a carrot.
It's the Galbrush Paradox all over again. Trannies can never be shown to be bad people, which limits the roles they can be in.
Freudian truth…
