He literally has a still in production series where his self insert (a 20 something college boy with the body of a 9 year old) has a giant titty GF to give him titjobs in every chapter.
Its literally called Chichichichichi aka Boobs boobs boobs boobs. The Shota character is the tame version of that.
Are we talking about the Dragon Maid author or the Jobless Reincarnation author?
Because I've never heard of this, but I won't be surprised by either one.
Seriously, Jobless Reincarnation (Mushoku Tensei) was so, so good...and yet I cannot recommend it to people, because of all the overtones. Same thing with Bakemonogatari and its related series, which I also enjoyed.
Dragon Maid, I don't know anything about the Jobless series or guy. Here it is for proof. He puts the same dynamic in most of his works as well.
Also that's the way I feel about Made in Abyss. The concept, art, and villains/creatures are just phenomenal. I truly just want to get lost in exploring the background elements and pages of landscapes of it. The artist is legit one of the best in the market on pure talent.
But then you get to the main characters and what they get into and the obvious problem arises. Makes it hard to enjoy and even harder to recommend to anyone.
God, that explains that crap with Shota.
Including that the character was named Shota.
I swear, in the coming years, we're going to learn some sad, creepy shit about the guy behind Jobless Reincarnation, too...

(EDIT: It's the Dragon Maid guy.)

Tbf Shota is a fairly common boy name in Japan, my wife's cousin has that name lol
Yes, but how many get creepy scenes where they're manipulated by big-breasted women while looking scared out of their gourds?
It's why I didn't like Dragon Maid. Changing dub lines was just icing on the cake.
