Of course, Apple only did it to ensure fairness and "to protect users".
Nothing to do with those sweet 30% extortion fees.

As much as Apple is a nasty global corporation, the subversive Chinese are always trying to get more of a foothold in US markets where they can maximize their profit while fucking over our systems for control. Epic is one of these public-facing wedges that's causing the biggest stink. The Chinese economy is a fascist-style protectionist command economy: no one is allowed to do business within China except with national citizens and their shell companies, while the CCP (not really communist anymore) gets a slice, or maybe all, of the profit since all of their "citizens" are
propertyassets of the state. This here is really about Tencent not being able to completely dominate the gaming market, and both parties involved deserve ExterminatusJust force China to divest of Epic the way they're doing with Tiktok.
That's my issue with the TikTok stuff even when Trump tried to handle it after Congress balked at tariffs. China needs to be shut out on all sectors of influence.
What are you talking about? The CCP takes ownership of any business it wants and installs party loyalists. It is the literal definition of a centrally planned and administered economy.
The fact that they allow some "capitalism" at the edges (until they care enough to take it over) doesn't make it a non-communist country.
(And yes, I'm well aware that the US government does effectively the same thing, but at least they have to pretend that they don't, and can be taken to court over it. For now.)
Which bridges multiple government ideologies and is not exclusive to communism. Just because government stooges are in the positions of running the company, doesn't automatically make it communist.
To my understanding, there is no element of nationalism in-facing nor out-facing in communism. Only when they can't run the economy anymore does that change.
