Apparently the Red Sonja actress crapped on the source material and said it would be very female empowered and then said something about the “male gaze”.
I love 70s through 90s Conan comics and would sometimes buy Red Sonja along with them. Also there are some great books as well as the original Robert E Howard Conan (which I read a few months ago). Goes without saying that the audience for Red Sonja is male and in the lore (not sure if they have changed it or not) she said she would share her bed with the man who can beat her in a fight. So I’d personally end the movie where she meets the man who defeats her.
Honestly a Conan or Red Sonja series with violence and sexy women would do great. Which is why they would rather give us butchered Wheel of Time or Rings of Power
I see the silver lining here. Any company that sinks resources into things like this will inevitably go bankrupt. The ones that don't will survive and thrive.
It is nice that Hollywood and the AAA gaming industry have gone full mask off, since the normies are forced to finally pay attention and vote with their wallets like the rest of us.
Lots of frogs are jumping out of the pot, and the coming collapse of all of these institutions is going to be beautiful.
I hope you are right but GGv1 kind of fizzled to be honest.
Gawker, Buzzfeed News, and VICE have all declared bankruptcy. Media corruption and wokeness itself are household topics, as is the idea that a worldwide cabal of elites is behind this.
Gamergate 1 won harder than we ever imagined.
Not to mention that previously untouchable companies like Disney and Warner are completely on fire for the same reasons. And Trump was elected President, and will be again. The culture war has gone mainstream. That's a whole lot of sunlight.
Except all media turned hard left and stayed there. We live in clown world, what exactly did we accomplish? At most we've weakened the leftists for this round.
This is only because it turns out that a powerful cabal is funding and pushing them -- a fact that we were instrumental in exposing, and that is now on even normie lips.
The fact all these sites are failing at once is a sign.
When the gov't effectively funds everything, you can absorb any losses... until suddenly you can't.
This should send warning sirens across all markets, but so far people are acting like it's an isolated fluke.
Good point
The funny thing about this is all these losses get absorbed by the ponzi scheme that is the American stock market so nothing fails until everything collapses all at once.
Going to be interesting days ahead.
Investors are driven by self interest. A company may care more about pushing the message than about making a profit, but their investors don't. The only message they care about is "fuck you, pay me". Blackrock and Vanguard may be able to absorb their losses for a while, but they are beholden to their investors too in the long run.
If you don't believe me, just take a look at what Disney's stock has done for the last two years.
