They can make reasonable arguments all day and at the end of the day, it just doesn't hold any water. And they really can't defend their position in the end it only makes them petty and have even less credibility than before. Ultimately, this is why I'm not too fond of the current western culture, it propped up bunch of pseudo-intellectuals that care more about optics than the end results and too chickenshit to actually tackle the problem like a man. I remember guys like Oliver in middle and high school. One of them might have been named Oliver, in fact. They were the kids who weren't popular at the slightest, were mid at best, but still thought they were too cool to hang out with the losers. You might catch them talking to those kids on occasion, but the next day they'd loudly make fun of the geeks to try and get in with the cool kids.
