Literally safer to have your money in physical goods and protect them with a safe and shotgun than use a bank..
It's funny that they won't us to go full digital because in their minds they think they can use tactics like this to bully people into submission.
In reality, I'm betting it'll increase a black economy working only in physical assests because you closing accounts over fee fees is less secure than dealing with literal mafias and international criminal syndicates.
It's one of the reasons I've been pulling out cash and staging it on the side, along with metals. You never know when the ATM will stop working because you post... here.
With metals, I don't know where to start. I know I can buy a car with Bitcoin. And, around here, I can buy an ATV, half a cow, or a rifle with silver, because it's valued by like-minded people. But I doubt I could take that car to a shop for work and pay in silver. Or buy general groceries. So what's the play? Stash metals and exchange for cash? Hope for greater acceptance of metals? I'm just stuck. I can see the value but not the utility in them.
