Hell, it's even been talked about by the critics. 15, 20 years ago, black main characters in things (where appropriate) would've been normal, unremarkable. Now because of the damn cult, the very sight of one is an instant red flag. How do you make that go away, even after the hypothetical purge of wokism?
It also doesn't help that when you cast decent black actors they misuse them in terrible writing.
Biggest example was Force Awakens, EVERYONE was looking forward to Boyega being a Stormtrooper turned into a Jedi story only for him to be badly cut down in that film for Ray to 'shine' then be a walking one for the next two films.
I think something I find even more disturbing about the pattern recognition is how the writing is inevitably the same. It's so damn condescending just being a man and having to note every time that the only men who are allowed to be masculine are black men. Even then when they are masculine it's always "You must use your masculinity to fight the white patriarchy, by the way, we always make the white men the villains or emasculated and inept". Oh and of course, they've always got to insert interracial dating into it which you can see happening in the trailer.
I'm just waiting for them to start pushing multi-culturalism to the absolute limit and trying to have Muslim men as progressive now that shit is going to be funny. It's interesting how they always avoid that thorny topic though which shows you they only ever go after the weak people who don't fight back and tell them to fuck off.
They could go with the muslim thing because religion is purely aesthetic to the woke cult. The main character could be muslim in the sense that they wear an arabic looking outfit and make vague references to allah every now and then.
You can tell how bad it is when we see one black person in a bit of media and go 'woke as fuck' immediately.
This isn't an attack on this forum, I'm saying how much DEI and other such pushes have made the causal audience VERY jaded to race in media.
