Why should anyone outside of Ukraine give a fuck what happens there? I do care that money I'm forced to pay is being used for this shit, but that's as far as my concerns go.
I actually have a better question for you. How is this any different from the war in Iraq? Same bullshit money laundering, different fucking day.
If you don't care that's fine, as long as you're telling the truth. The "don't care" position would be something like "yes Putin is attempting to conquer Ukraine for his dreams of empire, that's not my problem". This is a totally defensible position.
It's also okay to be pro-putin. What's not ok is to say you "don't care" then do a hundred mental backflips and type an essay every time someone says something true and unflattering about your favorite dictator. Just be honest in your position.

The difference is this time we're on the right side. Russia is waging a war of aggression for their own political, territorial and resource gain. They're playing the role we did in Iraq. They even had their own "weapons of mass destruction" bullshit story, this time about bio labs - and it seemed plausible too, didn't it?
With all the covid shit in Wuhan. Just like the WMD story in Iraq seemed plausible because Saddam kept fucking with the UN inspectors. Russia has sophisticated intelligence agencies, just like we do (or did at least), who can plant stories and come up with plausible lies to suit the wants of the regime.
